Glynhill Ladies International

The Glynhill Ladies International is about to begin, at 08.00 Friday morning. Blogger is on station to report on significant happenings!

It was good to meet old friends at last night's practice sessions. Mikael Hasselborg played for Sweden at the 1985 Air Canada Silver Broom in Glasgow's Kelvin Hall. Here coaching the Anna Hasselborg team, last year's winners.

Here's Lucy! Liudmila Privivkova.

Annie Laird will be substituting in the Eve Muirhead team with Anna Sloan taking over skipping duties, and Vicky Adams and Claire Hamilton, until their skip arrives back from her Athlete Role Model duties at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Marissa Messier

... and the other Bond Girls from California.

Just don't say she looks like her mum! Jennifer Martin.

This young Czech team will be competing in the World Junior Championships in Oestersund. Zuzana Hajkova is the skip. Here with their coach Karel Kubeska. Colourful, or what!
