Eve Muirhead's Team GB was up against Cissi Ostlund's Swedes in the semifinal of the Glynhill Ladies International at Braehead today. The home side ran to 5-2 ahead, but Ostlund pulled two back in the sixth. Eve blanked the seventh and had a straightforward clearance with last stone to win.The linescores are here.
The World Champions, skipped by Bingyu Wang, became engrossed in a tight battle with Mirjam Ott's Swiss. Ott went down the last end 5-4 in front. Wang's last stone, for the extra end, hit and rolled out, and the result was decided on a measure. Ott was in the final!
