And Leslie Ingram-Brown records what has been happening next door to the championship arena at the local curling club.
Apparently some 1200 schoolchildren have been getting the chance to experience curling for the first time in lessons that have been ongoing since Monday. That's some of them above. The volunteer instructors have been very busy every day. The children get over an hour each ice time with their instructor.Good to see the organisers making good use of the development opportunity that the staging of a world curling championship in Denmark for the first time has brought. The success of the home team in making the playoffs will have helped too!
