David Murdoch and Logan Gray went into this morning's Co-operative Funeralcare Scottish Championship eighth round tie on the same points record of four wins and three losses. David's team gave up a two at the first and had to pull out all the stops to get the advantage. This came in the eighth when, after two perfect skip's stones, they counted two to go 6-3 in front coming home. The win put Murdoch on five wins and three losses.
Also finishing the session with the same record were Tom Brewster and David Smith, the latter winning their game against each other this morning. This one went to the last stone, Warwick Smith playing a tap back around a guard with his last stone.
The David Edwards team, already assured of a place in the Page 1-2, maintained their undefeated record, although only afer an extra end against the John Hamilton team. David played a run back with his last.
All the results and standings are here.
