What a pleasure to see another book about curling in Scotland! It has been written by Cameron McKiddie, the President of the Kirriemuir Curling Club, to celebrate the club's bicentenary. But the book is much more than a club history.
Celebrating Curling - The Roarin’ Game is a fascinating compilation of poems, articles, stories and photographs of the sport. It has one hundred pages, and is very well produced. I just loved the original illustrations and the old photos of curling outside. Royal Club President Bill Marshall has written the foreward.
It costs £9.90 and I note it may be purchased from Amazon, see here. Bill also has copies for sale - you can contact him via Cairnie House (here).
