Blogally Jim Law is in Flims, Switzerland, at the World Junior Curling Championships. He sends this postcard:
Dear All
Having a lovely time. I'm at the newly constructed Waldhaus Arena in Flims, Switzerland. A bit snowy today.
It's a lovely place and the games got underway yesterday in the purpose-built curling rink.
I have some good news and some bad news for Bob. First the good news:
The Norwegian junior men's team have the same flair as the men! (Bob. Yes!)
But on the ice, Lauren Gray's team had a difficult day with losses to the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
And Ally Fraser's team went down to Norway.
All the results and standings can be found here. For more info, and to see webcasts from the event, go to the WCF website here.
This is not an instruction!
Hope you are all well. Wish you were here. Kind regards.
Jim
