The Linx Arena in Aberdeen which will showcase the A Division games in the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships next month is open again after its refurbishment. Check out the article in this morning's Press and Journal here. It says, "During the 18-month closure the rink underwent a £1.45 million refurbishment, which members of the public and skating groups are now being asked to test ahead of next month’s European Curling Championships."
The facility will be open for a ten day period to check out the City Council owned rink, the new plant, and their systems and staff. The local organising committee for the championships gets access to the Linx arena on Monday, November 23, to ready it for the European event.
