RCCC President at Antiques Roadshow

BBC's popular programme, The Antiques Roadshow, was filmed at Blair Castle last week. More than 2,000 people turned up to value their prize possessions, among them RCCC President Robbie Scott.

The Courier and Advertiser online piece is here, and the picture above appeared in the printed newspaper on Friday, September 10. The caption reads, "Olympic curler and local girl Eve Muirhead and Royal Caledonian Curling Club President Robbie Scott get some advice from silver expert Alastair Dickenson."

And no, I don't believe for a moment that Alastair was being asked to value Eve's three World Junior Championship medals - which are, of course, priceless!

Hopefully this will appear in the programme which is to be broadcast.

There is a preview for the new series of The Antiques Roadshow here.

Fiona Bruce, Antiques Roadshow presenter, is quoted as saying, "We've had a brilliant turnout and glorious sunshine - the people of Perthshire have done us proud."
