There's a page on the website for the Inverness rink which begins 'A warm welcome to Inverness Ice Centre ...'Actually things can sometimes get too warm! There was a fire at the rink earlier this week. Fortunately, damage was confined to the changing rooms. Tom Pendreigh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, confirms that the Inverness Skins, a Goldline Scottish Curling Tour event, will go ahead this weekend as planned with special changing facilities in place. Twenty-four teams play in four sections.
