Leslie Ingram-Brown reports from the Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Regina:
"Draw five brought Tom Brewster, Greg Drummond, Scott Andrews and Michael Goodfellow up against Switzerland's Andreas Schwaller. Brewster built up a 6-2 lead after five ends and at that point it looked all over. But it was about to become a thriller.
Switzerland blanked the sixth and then were forced to take a single in the seventh. Schwaller's side dominated the eighth, lying two shots behind the guards and there was no way in for the Scots. That made the score 6-5 in favour of Brewster with two ends to go.
In the ninth Switzerland lay one shot and Brewster rubbed a front stone and rolled away. Tied 6-6 in the tenth, the boys got it all back together. With his last stone Brewster coolly played a promotion take-out, to count four shots and give his team a third straight win.
Earlier yesterday the Scots had played Korea's Dong Keum Lee in the afternoon Draw 4. Five shots in the fourth end for a 7-1 lead secured Scotland's win in this one.
