Logan Gray has been in touch to say that the organisers are still looking for a few entries for the 2012 British Open Curling Championships which will take place at The Peak, Stirling, Monday, January 30 - Thursday, February 2.The format of the competition will be six sections of four teams playing a round robin. The winners from each section and two highest up qualifiers from the round robin games go through to the knockout stages.
Teams can be any four curlers, ladies, gents, mixed, juniors, seniors, and wheelchairs.
The winning rink will receive a cash prize of £600 and the runners-up, £300. The entry fee is £120 per team. This guarantees a minimum of three games and up to seven games for those reaching the final. All games will be played afternoon and evening ice, starting from 3.30 pm.
