Jennifer Dodds was tied coming home against Jennifer Martin/Mhairi Baird. Mhairi got her last stone half hidden. Dodds just rubbed the guard to give Team Martin its first win. What a scalp!
Helen King counted two to tie after ten ends against Lauren Gray. But with last stone at the extra, and two lying against her, Lauren coolly drew the eight foot for the game.
Gina Aitken and Lauren Baxter also fought out eleven ends, with Baxter stealing a single for the win.
This was a biggie this morning. Anna Sloan and Hannah Fleming had battled last week in the Columba Cream Scottish Ladies. This was the second hard week in a row for the juniors. Tied 1-1 after five, Anna stole a three when Hannah was just too heavy with her draw, and Team Sloan ran out winners.Last round robin game is this evening. Top team goes straight to the final, and if two teams finish on the same points a tiebreaker will be necessary. The second and third placed teams will contest a single semifinal tomorrow.
