I get lots of requests for my curling photos, to be used for a variety of purposes. But this was one of the most unusual, from the Irish Curling Association. "Bob, we would like to use one of your pix for John Jo Kenny's birthday cake!"Here is the result! It is an interesting concept, certainly. The consequence is that John Jo has to eat himself!
So, was this a significant birthday? Yes it was. The big 50! Altogether now, "Happy birdy to you, happy birdy to you........ " The whole new world of seniors' curling beckons for John Jo.
