Scottish Senior Championships

The first games of the Scottish Senior Championships take place today (Wednesday) at the Lanarkshire Ice Rink, Hamilton. The seventeen teams in the women's competition play in three sections, two of six teams, one of five. Sections A and B are first on the ice at 15.00 today.

Twelve men's teams have come through qualifiers and will compete in two sections. First games are 10.00 on Thursday.

The winners of Sunday's finals will represent Scotland - natural disasters permitting - at the World Seniors Curling Championships in Saint Paul, USA, April 16-23. The website for these events is here.
