So, who's the most talked about player at the Glynhill Ladies Invitation? A member of Team GB? One of the World Champions? No. It's Lynn Cameron, above, third player for the Claire Milne team.
Do you remember that Lynn is running the London Marathon for Children with Leukaemia? To raise money she persuaded many of Scotlands top male curlers to strip off for a calendar, to help her raise some money for this good cause, see here.
She tells me that she has already raised £3000 from sales of the calendar, Ice and a Slice 2010, and it was a big hit at Braehead when it was offered for sale at the Glynhill competition today.
It was for sale at the RCCC Ladies' Branch stall. I asked President Kay Gibb about this and she assured me that the Ladies' Branch was only too happy to help such a good cause.
Indeed, they are thinking of trying to organise a seniors version of the calendar for next year!
Curlers from all over the world seemed interested in studying the anatomy of Scotland's men!
Anyway, even if there are no calendars left, if you would like to help Lynn with her fundraising before her marathon in a couple of months time, drop some cash, or your cheque, into an envelope and send it to her c/o the Dewar's Rinks in Perth!
And if you are just interested in what the photos in the calendar are like, as a public service only, skipcottagecurling would just point you to this link. There also an email for Lynn here too. Parental advisory recommended!
