Murray Young's team of Stuart Taylor, Cammy Smith and Angus Dowell were up against the experience of Ewan MacDonald, Graeme Connal, Peter Loudon and Euan Byers. That's Murray and Ewan in the photo above. The youngsters had the edge in this one, and were two up coming home, with the hammer. Murray needed to play his last though. With MacDonald stones in play, he drew the button for the win.

In this morning's other games, Tom Brewster bounced back from an opening loss, and were off the ice after six ends in their game against Graeme Black. David Edwards beat Jay McWilliam, with Grant Hardie on last stones. David Murdoch defeated John Hamilton, in a game that looked comfortable for the Murdoch side.
"Tight Fit." The Logan Gray team in action. Logan, Alasdair Guthrie, Steven Mitchell and Sandy Gilmour were against Hepburn, Smith, Smith and Smith and the game went to an extra. Logan needed to cut the tee, but was too heavy with his last.
