John Penny, Colin Dick, Colin Howden and Billy Morton were up against Iiro Sipola's Finnish side in their first round robin game at the World Junior Curling Championship in Perth.
It was a tight game for six ends. The key was the seventh. With lots of Scottish stones in the house, the Finnish skip was just centimetres off with his hammer and Scotland stole two for a 6-3 lead. A well played taken two in the ninth, saw the Scots 8-4 ahead coming home. So, a good win for the Scots in their opening game.
